Eagle Scout Project

A LONG time ago, for my Eagle Scout project, I led my fellow scouts to design, build and install horseshoe pits and backstops at Shotgun Creek Recreation Site, a park in a dense forest with hiking trails about 30 minutes from Eugene.

20 years later, I stopped by with a hike and they are still in good condition! I’m glad they seem to have got some use over the years, and are still in good shape.
